What's up people?!?

I'm in Vegas right now. Yes I mean Vegas as Las Vegas, sin city, viva Las Vegas , in the state of Nevada! 

My host family's two daughters and their families live here so we flew here on Saturday and we're staying till December 29. 

On Sunday we went to church and opened some presents with the grand kids who won't be here on Christmas Eve.

On Monday we went to the atomic bomb museum. It's a history museum about the bomb tests they used to do out in the Nevada desert. 

Later at night Grace, Whitney (mum's grand daughter),mum and I went to a really cool show about Vegas and its history and then we walked along Las Vegas boulevard also known as the strip, where all the big hotels and casinos are. 

Las Vegas boulevard aka the strip is the "newer" street but the first down town area was around the Fremont street. That's where Las Vegas started. We drove to the northern part of Vegas and Fremont street on Tuesday and walked the old street and also visited the downtown container park. It's a little park with shops built of old containers. Around the downtown area I saw a lot of wall paintings and more art things and it seemed like a cool part of Vegas to visit. 

Yesterday Wednesday we didn't do anything special, just chilled at the house, played soccer and then Grace and I watched The Hangover. I love that movie and I had to watch in while I'm Vegas. 

Today it's Christmas Eve and its kind of hard to believe when there is no snow and palms outside, but it's still a bit cold. It's switching from 54 down to 36 ( 14 to 2 Celsius). It was a bit warmer when we came so I didn't have to wear a jacket the first days. Tonight we're opening the presents but first we're going to a Cuban Christmas party. More later.
