Let me tell you some more about the American style.
Big trucks: "Everything is bigger in Texas" and the cars isn't an exception. It's trucks everywhere and not because the people here works on farms or really need them, it's just the trend. Trucks are the big thing.
Styles: The everyday fashion here it's a little different and not so dressed up as home. It's very typical t-shirt and jeans. Headbands is very common too and sandals or moccasins (both for boys and girls). One thing I really like is all the Jordan's. If they don't have moccasins or regular Nikes, the guys have Jordan's.
The thing I noticed first when I came was the this style of girls jeans. They have some really popular brands and the jeans have like "diamonds" on the back pockets. I used to have that when I was about 8 years old and the only place you can find these kind of jeans nowadays in Sweden is in second hand stores. But I'm actually starting to like them.
Overall the fashion here is more colorful even for middle age and above. Like it!
